Colorful balloons add the perfect finishing touch to the birthday table.
As a parent it is a joy to see your child grow and change over the years. Their likes, interests and even their personality continue to develop as years go by. Why not create a record that both you and your child can fondly look back on and recall what they loved at different points along their life journey? Beginning at age 3 ask your child a series of the same questions every year on their birthday. Compile their answers into a personalized memory book and present it to them on a milestone birthday celebration, this could be their 16th or 18th birthday. You both will enjoy looking back and seeing how their answers changed over time.
Create a special book for your child with a page for each year with the pre-printed questions. This book can be simple with just your child’s name across the front and solid color pages or you can get as creative as you want with decorative elements, it is really up to you. For example, you could visit the local craft store for scrapbooking supplies and decorate each year’s page so it reflects the theme of your child’s birthday for that year. You can include, stamps, stickers, use decorative hole punches, paper with different designs or scissors with scalloped edges. Be sure to leave a space on each year’s page for a birthday photo, this might be wallet sized 3×5 inches or 4×6 inches.
